AgriDrones covers agricultural drones — spray and spread aircraft, mapping platforms, the software around them, and the rules that govern flying and applying with them.
Why the site exists
Most coverage of this equipment is either manufacturer marketing or search-engine filler. Both share a problem: you cannot check them. Specifications appear without sources, “best of” lists include machines that were discontinued years ago, and nothing carries a date.
We built this site around the opposite premise. Every specification is rendered from a source file that records where the figure came from and when it was last checked, and that provenance is shown on the page rather than hidden. If we cannot source something, we do not publish it.

Who writes what
Most articles here are researched and drafted by an automated pipeline against a sourced knowledge base, then checked by a separate system before publication. Those carry the byline AgriDrones Editorial, because attributing machine-assisted work to a person would misrepresent how it was made. How that process works is set out in full on How we work.
Articles reviewed or written directly by the editor carry his name.
There is no third byline, and there will not be one unless a real person joins and can be contacted. The previous version of this site carried a fabricated author identity — a stock avatar and a plausible name across seventeen articles. Retiring that was one of the first decisions in this rebuild. Inventing a replacement would defeat the point, and a search engine assessing whether this publication is trustworthy is looking for exactly that kind of thing.
Editorial independence
We do not accept payment for favourable coverage. Where a page contains affiliate links, that is disclosed on the page itself, above the content. Where advertising appears, it is clearly separated from editorial material.
Manufacturers are welcome to send us documentation and press imagery, and we use it — credited, with the date we checked it. That is not a commercial relationship and it does not buy a conclusion.
