What these figures mean in practice

Our reading of the specifications above. These are not manufacturer claims — every number below is derived from the table, and the trade-offs are ours.

What XAG does not publish is worth noting

There is no airframe weight, no overall dimensions, no flight time and no wind-resistance limit on this page. DJI publishes all four for every model in its range. That is not evidence of a worse machine, but it does make like-for-like comparison harder, and it means an operator cannot check the aircraft against a transport or regulatory weight threshold from the manufacturer's own figures.

The efficiency claims are XAG's, and they imply a low water rate

26 ha/h spraying and 2167 kg/h fertilising are the manufacturer's open-field figures. It is worth checking the first against the rest of the sheet. The 70 L tank at the 30 L/min maximum empties in two minutes twenty, so covering 26 hectares in an hour at any conventional water rate is not possible — at 69 L/ha it would need twenty-six tank loads, one every 2.3 minutes including transit and refill. At an ultra-low-volume rate nearer 10 L/ha it needs about 260 L an hour, under four tank loads, which is achievable. The headline number is real; it just belongs to ULV work, and that qualification is the part a headline tends to lose.

A bigger hopper than tank, unusually

The 115 L granule container against a 70 L liquid tank is the reverse of the DJI pattern, where the spreader is typically sized to the same payload as the sprayer. Combined with 280 kg/min discharge, this reads as a machine designed with spreading as a first-class job rather than an attachment.

Charging is fast and self-contained

A 975 Wh pack at 3.4 kW gives eleven minutes to full and eight on rapid charge, with 1500 rated cycles. That is a smaller battery than the DJI equivalents — the T55's DB1050 is about 1.05 kWh — and a correspondingly smaller charger, which keeps the ground kit lighter.
